Predicate

I will be taking part in Predicate, a new twice monthly event ocurring every other Wednesday at 3:30pm SLT and starting on 15 Oct. Predicate is an interactive event in which the audience can participate in the creation of stories, scenes, improvisations in the moment. If that sounds like it might be out of your comfort zone, however, rest assured that curious audience members can choose to remain observers.

The event will be run by Theatre Worker and Instructor Persephone Phoenix, and will take place at Idylls on Da Vinci Isle (an amazing underwater venue).

Hope to see you there :)

Stand in AWE

I have a stand at the Autumn Writers' Exhibition in Cookie. This link will take you straight to my display, where you can read extracts from my novels, some poems I've written recently and a brand new Hard Luck story, 'If the right guy is listening'. A couple of the poems will also play readings I recorded of them through your media player when clicked on.

Three months; two novels

Today I start work in earnest on a new Second Life novel, 'Be Right Back'. I've been working at it at a leisurely pace for the last month and have completed about 10% of it. I aim to have it finished by the end of October.

And then, in November, National Novel Writing Month kicks off; I have another title lined up to write for that. Two novels in three months then. It will mean I'm not inworld quite as much, although I still have some readings planned (see the panel on the right-hand side).
